We focus our mission and outreach work in our own community
The story for the day: Why were the eggs empty?
To remind us that Jesus' tomb was empty on Easter Sunday morning.
Big thank you's to lots of people who pitched in to lend a hand, and especially the
Village of Chesterville
who partnered with us and helped with so many things!
Lots of eggs, sack races, arts + crafts, hot dogs + popcorn, and a Gospel story book for dozens of kids and families.
We're excited to partner with
as they're bringing 200-400 youth from all across America
to a Jesus-centered workcamp in Morrow County

Here's a parent telling about the impact that God's Word and LifeWise
are having on her kids, her family, and her home:
Our church supports this program financially and with volunteers.
As winter came in, we funded and distributed 50 Blizzard Boxes. Each blizzard boxes has 3 nutritionist-approved meals. They were available to anyone who would like food available if weather prevents them from getting to the store.
A bunch of friends and neighbors came around + joined in to help put them together, making it a quick and enjoyable time.
We support our community's kids and families!
Somebody commented, "It thrills me to have your banner in our gym.
Our kids and community need Jesus more than ever and while displaying a cross may seem like a small act, I believe it is very pleasing to God.
I just wanted to say Thank you and the banner looks fantastic!"
Go Scots!
Trick-or-Treat bags came with "Everybody Needs a Little Jesus" figures. We passed out around 100+ free hot dogs, and set out a pumpkin decorating table for families passing by.
We also gave out 200+ Gospel story books, pocket-size Gospel of John booklets, and New Testaments!
The church served up coffee + donuts first thing ...
all donations to
LifeWise Academy in Highand Schools.
Later our church's praise band got together with friends from the Pulaskiville Bible Church and more, playing gospel, Dixieland, and bluegrass favorites under the Big Tent.

It was a beautiful day to remember and thank those who laid down their
lives for our country, community, and freedom.
A prayer before we tuck in ...

Our 1st Anniversary as a Community Church!
It took lots of time, treasure, talent, and trust - and most of all,
God's grace!
We're truly grateful + blessed.
Everyone was welcome for worship and / or lunch with friends, old + new.
Re-dedicating our stained glass windows which date back to the 1890's. Several were blown out by a tornado on June 13, 2022. They're now beautifully restored.
We remember so many friends, family, and loved ones gone to glory. Here are but a few for whom we give thanks.

Here he is singing "What a Day."
Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant!
We celebrate and give great thanks for the life of Pat Ebersole, member of Chesterville Community Church where she served as organist, secretary, Sunday School teacher and in the after-school program for children. "She lived to love; She loved to live!"
